BPI has recognised our laboratories for conducting tests that will enable companies to obtain eco-labels for industrial and home compostability, and soil biodegradability.
BPI is the leading authority on compostable products and packaging in North America. The BPI certification mark is the most reliable and recognised third-party verification to determine whether a product or packaging meets ASTM compostability standards.
BPI Certification Scheme
After the corresponding studies are conducted, and if the results comply with the standards, products and materials may obtain the following certifications:
- Biodegradable in Soil products.
- Products made of compostable materials for home composting.
- Products made of compostable materials for industrial composting.
